What is Thyme Care Now?
Thyme Care Now is a care management program that helps people with cancer and their caregivers get the support they need. We give you access to a Care Team that can provide general education and guidance, care coordination support, and referrals to appropriate resources. We are not a replacement for your doctor or medical team, and we do not handle emergencies.
Is this a pilot program?
Yes. Thyme Care Now is new, and we're currently offering it to people in Texas. We want to learn what's working so we can help more people in the future. We may ask for your feedback along the way.
Am I eligible?
You can join if you are 18 or older and live in Texas.

What can't Thyme Care Now help with?

Do I need insurance?
No. Thyme Care Now is a $199 monthly membership and is paid directly by you. We do not bill your insurance.
What do I get with my membership?
Your membership includes:
- Access to the Thyme Care Connect web app to get support, track your care goals, and find resources.
- 24/7 access to your Care Team
- Help understanding your cancer journey and next steps.
- Support for your family and caregivers.
- Help finding and connecting with the right resources and services.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your membership is $199/month, billed after your care consult. You'll see a full billing summary at checkout before anything is charged. See full program terms here.
Is there a contract?
No. You can cancel at any time. Cancellations will be deemed effective as of the last day of the month in which they were received.
Can I pay with my HSA or FSA?
Thyme Care Now is not a verified HSA/FSA service, so we are not able to confirm eligibility. Check with your plan administrator to find out if your account covers this type of service.
Can my family or caregiver be involved?
Yes. With your consent, a family member or caregiver can speak with your Care Team on your behalf. Each membership covers one person, but we're here to support the people helping you too.
What happens after I sign up?
After you sign up, you'll get a confirmation email. From there, a Care Team member will reach out by text to confirm the time for your care consultation. During your care consultation, you'll have an introductory call with a doctor, get to know your options, and decide if Thyme Care Now is the right fit for you.
How do I reach my Care Team?
You can reach your Care Team anytime by phone or text. Your Care Team's contact number is listed in the Thyme Care Connect app.
Who will I be working with?
Your Care Team may include licensed doctors, nurses, social workers, and other trained health and wellness specialists. No matter their background, everyone on your team is here to provide education, guidance, and support.
Your Care Team will also let you know if a question is outside the scope of what they can help with, and they'll point you in the right direction.
Will my Care Team diagnose me, treat me, or prescribe medication?
No. Thyme Care Now does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We are here to educate, support, and help you navigate your care.
Can I use Thyme Care Now as a second opinion for my diagnosis?
No. Thyme Care Now does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We are here to educate, support, and help you navigate your care.
What should I do in an emergency?
Do not contact Thyme Care Now in an emergency. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately.
How is my information kept safe?
We take your privacy seriously. Thyme Care follows HIPAA rules and state privacy laws to keep your information secure.
Will my information be shared with my other doctors?
Only if you say it's okay. We'll ask you first before sharing anything with your other providers.
How do I cancel?
Send us a written notice at cancel@thymecare.com anytime. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the month we receive it. There are no fees to cancel.
